Move back in time smell the fireplaces and meet the vikings. The viking camp will be open till the 3th of September. Why not take part in rowing an autentic viking ship, try out archery, some old viking games, taste food made in iron and stone kettles, or the sweet old brews in your drinking horn. Our Kaupang (Merchant place) is based upon archeological evidence excavated in the Viking towns in early medieval Europe.
From the 12th-17th of July we will have a Viking market with Fighting, archery competition, story telling, concerts and lots more. There will also be sales stalls and good historic food.
There will be around 500 vikings from more than 20 nations and the market will be open from 12non to 6pm, prices 150,- Nok for adults and 75,- Nok for children, family price 375,- Nok.
