Bryggen has become a symbol of our cultural heritage and has gained a place on UNESCO's World Heritage List.
Some of the things to do in Bergen is visiting the fish market in the middle of town. From there you have the whole city within walking distance. You can start with bryggen and it's old hanseatic wharf then take the funicular Fløybanen to the top of mount Fløyen all just 150 meters from the Fish Market. From the top of Mount Fløyen you get a breathtaking view over Bergen. There is also a network of walking paths in unspoiled nature on the top of Mount Fløyen.
